Just above the waist there is a small border with red and white checked pattern. This border continues to the back. There are 2 mesh pockets just above the skirt.
The skirt really is a flared skirt with a petticoat under it. The skirt is bordered with an edge in red and with a checked pattern. The petticoat is edged with a fringe in red with white dots and a lace edge. On the back there is a blue label that says "World of Joy".
